Ridgewood Capital has a dedicated team focused on the needs of our First Nations clients. Our team has been managing accounts for First Nations’ clients across Canada and the Territories since 1998. Our success comes from our personalized service (which responds to your questions about investing), training workshops, and concise quarterly reports about the growth of your money. As your investment partner, you can feel confident that Ridgewood Capital is experienced with every level of First Nations contact, from Board of Trustee and Chief and Council meetings to holding investment workshops for community members.
As part of our commitment to First Nations, John H. Simpson established in 2006 the Beutel Mulvihill Rodgers Aboriginal Scholarship at the University of Toronto Faculty of Social Work. Ridgewood Capital proudly assumed Mulvihill’s share of this scholarship for a Masters Degree of Social Work (MSW) in 2008. In 2011, Ridgewood established a new scholarship, the Ridgewood Aboriginal Scholarship, for students in the MSW and PhD programs at the University of Toronto.
